This 1954 "Effie" has the original running gear
(original 223 6-Cylinder, Factory 3 Speed on the "tree"), a current California license, and was even featured in Low Rider Magazine!  It has a chrome front end, and more chrome on the engine.  The truck can be raised and lowered by electric pumps, has full running boards, custom and cruise lights, diamond tuck interior, AM/FM Cassette Radio, full Alarm, and in general is set up for show or cruise.

This 1953 "Effie" is mostly original although rough.

The only actual change that has been done is someone moved the battery to under the hood from under the passengers floorboard.  I have done a lot but it's hard to tell from the pictures.

All the work has been with the spring bushings, all the cab mounts, king pins, the drivers side cab floor and cab corner.

The engine is a 239 V8 and it does run, 3 speed transmission that works.  The truck will need to be trailered.  The hydraulic portion of the brakes is in need of repair.  I think it would be a great truck for someone to restore or customize.

I have the complete cab seal kit.  I have used the driver's door seal and the windshield seal.  I have a complete window anti-rattle kit that is stainless steel from Bob Drake.  An extra passenger door, RF fender and grill are included.  I have some other misc. parts that go with the truck and a reproduction 1953 Ford repair manual.

1977 short bed step side custom pickup.
